Man I wish I could get my hands on any of those Naruto games... I saw them played on GCN at Otakon. Looked like a lot of fun.
I also like the concept of Super Stars. Forums a littered with threads like "Hei vs. Vegeta: who would win?" and stuff like that. I see them everywhere. Its kind of neat to be able to pit them up against each other ^^ |

 Does the DS play Japanese games without any mods? This and Nintendogs may be just enough to push me over the edge and get one...

The nintendo DS allows you to play imported games without any mods luckily. 
I hope they make a game like this for PS2 or gamecube consisting of characters from many popular anime/manga. The only problem is probably that anime is made from so many different companies... About the naruto trailer...I say finally a naruto game with awesome graphics and a cool looking battle sytem. The only downside is that it looks like you can't have any computers or friends to help you out .

Like the previous Game Boys, there's no region settings for the DS. You can easily import this game at places like NCSX, Play-Asia.com, or several other import sites. Here's a list of the series that are used in the game: DRAGON BALL Z, DR. You got to be kidding me! How can the characters of Hikaru no Go and Prince of Tennis fight. By throwing tennis balls and go pieces? Anyway, it sounds like a pretty good game especially that you can play as Rurouni Kenshin characters. |

The DS isn't a GameBoy. Nintendo has specifically said it's not in that line of handhelds. The next GameBoy (after the Advance SP) is the Micro. *gamer* :X
Actually, I think slamming tennis balls really hard at someone with your net would be pretty successful. Can you imagine? Ow. Dunno about HikaGo, though. 
And this isn't the first video game with Rurouni Kenshin characters.

I HAVE to wonder how Toujou Aya from Ichigo 100% attacks in the game.
Seriously, I have seen her face in some of the promo artwork, and I was shocked. It makes zero sense, but I still wanna play. Probably be the ONLY place EVER you could see Himura Kenshin versus Roronoa Zoro. Who is the best swordsman? Which is the best style? Santoryu or Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu? Only in Jump Allstars can this awnser be found. I'm sad I sold my DS to afford a PSP now, even though Lumines still owns me, I would have loved to have gotten this and Nintendogs (Seeing Shigeru Miyamoto have a Nintendog with a Mario hat on at E3 sold me on it). |

Everyone needs to keep in mind that not all the characters in the game are actual combat/battle characters, there's a huge number of support-type characters as well. There's a full list of them over at GameFAQs' Jump Superstars page.
For example, Toujou Aya and Shindo Hikaru are support characters, whereas characters like Himura Kenshin and Kurosaki Ichigo are battle characters. |

Its times like these I wish I had a friend somewhere high up in Nintendo to send me crap.
*sigh* I just bought a PSP, but now I see all this stuff coming out for DS, I think that will be the next thing I buy. Then import some stuff. And review it ^^ And tell you how good it is and you'll wish you had emulators....again... [UPDATE] O_O!!!! Jump! sold 320,000 copies in its first day!!! Thats...er....alot? |

And people to this day, wonder why I haven't got a PSP and still love the DS. And people wondered why I said it's wasn't a good thing that the PSP got overhyped (Yeah, PS3... your next.), but I'm OT. I got mine on order and so it's a matter of days. Too bad ladies best friend, City Hunter, is MIA.

Mmm, but just think about it, the stylus and the dual-screen couldnt be achieved on a computer-run emulator. Shame.
Maybe she flashes her strawberry panties at the enemies and the have nosebleeds ala Naruto's Sexy no Jutsu? |
