Theres four DVDs for it each has 3 episodes( I think) That's 4x3=12episodes, but theres 2 episodes in each episode, so that's 4x6=24, but ANN has 17 episodes for it. How are the episodes set up? Is there only 12 in America and 17 in Japan?

Some of the first few episodes are half-length, but presented together as one standard episode. Most of the episodes are full-length. I just think of it as 12 episodes.

So then how long are the half length and full length episodes? 10 and 20 min?

Yeah, the episode count is all over the map--the bootleg version I bought last summerhad 11, and my friend gave me a downloaded version with 15. I had been wondering this same thing myself.
(But don't worry, I'm buying the DVDs too!) |
