I'm looking for info on a piano solo used regularly throughout Wolf's Rain. It's in 5/4 (for a time signature), minor key, and usually plays in the early episodes, when they discuss the Book of the Moon. I don't think it's on the soundtrack, but am looking for a name, sheet music, mp3, etc. Help?

You know, Toboe06, I was actually wondering about this piece when the 2nd soundtrack came out. "Why the heck isn't that gorgeous piano piece anywhere on here?" Oh well. I'm a pianist as well (I'm guessing you are, since you inquired about sheet music), so I've been picking out the melody but have yet to write anything in my music manuscript book. I'm just as lost as you are in search of a title, and I won't be able to provide any mp3 information since I don't download music, but I'll get back to you if I find the time to write that melody down anytime soon.

Dammit, dammit! I need to find a semi-decent book to teach me music theory. I want to be a pianist too!

I think I might just do what you're doing, . I can try to write out the song too (just based off of listening to it a million and four times), and maybe we can put something together out of it. Are you really from Minneapolis? I'm from Duluth!

Hooray for Minnesota! Give me a shout the next time you head to the Twin Cities and we'll hang. I'm up for comparing music notes! I'll post again when I've written something and we can maybe figure out where to go from there.
