Can anybody tell me how many episodes there are in Fullmetal Alchemist? I've been renting the DVDs from Netflix, which says that there are 16 episodes on four DVDs, but other places say that there are 51 episodes. Which is right?

Also, I've been looking for a place that sells the complete box set, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere. Is it not out yet or something?

Netflix probably says that because they're talking about the English DVDs, the 4th volume of which is due out later this month.

Patch do you have a link for the info about episodes 27-28 because I dont see bonus on any game sites? I've been staying up late and on monday episode 27 should come on, but knowing adult swim they well restart it.
Edit: I only heard rumors that they well put episode 1-2 on it.

I'd like to know as well, this is the first time I've heard this.

Restarts Monday, they wouldn't do new episodes during the weekday, especially not unannounced.

The new episodes of FMA don't start until either September or October, so you will have to wait until then to see Episodes 27-28.

They moved the new FMA eps to August to help with ratings. They'll be halting Champloo and PA once they hit ep 13.

That seems strange. PA only has 13 episodes, so I figured they might do something to fill up the extra time once it was done. But Samurai Champloo has 26 episodes. I would have thought they would have just let the full 26 run straight.

Are they bringing back GITS early, too?

That isn't what I meant. We were talking about the second seasons of FMA and GITS: SAC. The last I had heard, Fullmetal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig were supposed to begin in September or October. Shibahime commented that they were going to start the NEW episodes of FMA in August to try and help with ratings. So, I was wondering if they were also going to start GITS: SAC 2nd Gig in August, as well.

Odds are, seeing as how both Paranoia Agent and Samurai Champloo will be stopped once Paranoia Agent wraps up, that 2nd Gig will be airing alongside the returning Fullmetal Alchemist.
