I have a question for you - apologies if it has been asked before, or if it is too obscure (not too sure how things work 'round here).
Basically, it's to do with the very old Manga animes, i.e. Fist Of The North Star, Vampire Hunter D, Urotsikudoji etc. etc. - at the start of each vid/DVD for all the films of that time there is a short musical interlude in which they show various clips of Manga films accompanied by a rock song which has no lyrics apart from the occasional "uuurrrgghhhh". So my question is: does anyone know what this song is, or the band that wrote it? Many thanks in advance. |

If it's the same ad that I saw, then it's Ultra by KMFDM.
These lyrics ring a bell? ... You caught on fire. On fire. On fire - I do not need you anymore. Fire - You cannot hurt me anymore. Fire - give it, give it to me! On fire - I do not need you anymore. Fire - You cannot hurt me anymore. Fire - I do not need you anymore Fire - You cannot hurt me anymore. fire - you cannot hurt me... |

Nah, this tune has no lyrics - it was at the beginning of every single Manga vid of that era.
Thank you for your response tho', much appreciated - and thanks for reminding me about KMFDM (great band), I'll be digging out CDs tonight! |

OK - further research has revealed that it was simply called "Manga Theme" and was by Mad Capsule Markets. It was only included on the UK Manga releases.
My google skillz know no bounds I know that we're not supposed to request mp3 links, but you all know how PMs work, yes...? |

Do you own any of those DVDs? If so you can rip the audio from that intro. DVD Video to Audio CD Guide If you don't want audio CD, just convert the audio ripped to MP3, there are guides for that also. |
