I recently wrote to Tofu Records about ther new L'arc~en~ciel album "Awake." Although there is no release date yet, the TOFU staff has assured that they will be releasing it in the states sometime later this year.
Any thoughts?

well, i guess it depends when they release it. i'm gonna wait for the overseas version to become available at yesasia, (if i can't find it at Book Off that is). But if Tofu releases one around the same time, then i'll just buy it from them.

got the L'Arc~en~ciel feeling to it like the rest of their albums with a harder sound.. like on the song as one..thats waay to hard for them but then it works for the song
gonna get a real version of it for sure when its release by Tofu in Nov

It's either an import or a bootleg. If it's only 19, probably a bootleg.
That aside, AWAKE is a good album - and that's coming from a non L'Arc fan. Jojoushi and AS ONE are great tracks, and the others won't fail to please either. It's a hell of a lot better than SMILE.
