I believe they also covered that naked girl from that porn site by covering it with a blue uniform. Rolling Eyes

And this proves how awesome New Generation Pictures are; the dub ungodly rocked! Cool

Didn't notice that one.

Hmm... Did New Gen Pictures do GiTS, Wolf's Rain and Cowboy Bebop?

I need to research that.

--EDIT--
No they didn't, but they did do R.O.D the TV, Ikki-tousen and Daphne in the Brilliant Blue

New Generation Pictures

I haven't seen it yet. It comes on here in New Mexico in about 10 minutes. I will look for the edits mentioned above.

So was anyone actually watching this to watch, you know, the show? This feels like the Gundam SEED thread already.

So far, it's a big "what?" to me. And I hope this doesn't turn out like a bunch of other mindfuck anime I've seen that starts out interesting, but ends up spiraling into a pretentious storyline that drags on and on. At least its 13 eps.

Paranoia Agent sags just a little bit in eps 8-10 but it finishes really, really strong. There are lots of parts in it that will make you go "huh?" at the time you see them, but most of it makes complete sense in the end. (And a lot of what happens in episode 1 takes on new significance once you've seen the end.) It is also very appropriately-named, as you'll discover.

Be forewarned that this is not a nice or kid-friendly series. It also plays around a lot with its character's perspectives on reality. It is, however, one of the year's best series.

I never fully understood why "s**t" had to be edited out of TV-14 shows. PG-13 movies are replete with uses of it, including sparing uses of "f**k." I try not to curse, but I honestly can't see why people get so flustered by it. Just turn the show off, or hit mute, or something.

In any event, all you need to do is ask online, and you'll probably end up with one coherent idea...

like ALL Satoshi Kon works, this can pretty much be explained without ending in SEVERAL different takes on the ending, which is nice considering the confusing nature of his works *haven't seen Tokyo Godfathers.... will hopefully soon...*

Nah, I don't think so at all, you actually NEED those episodes to make sense of what is happening in the ending *without these episodes, you'd just go... "huh?" *

I don't think any of the episodes were wasted at all

anyway, on your first go, they will end up as extremely entertaining episodes anyway *for the most part*

and I agree, the dub PWNS, really one of the best...

I've also seen the dub for TEXHNOLYZE and I have to say that NGP probably puts out the best *next to the disney miyazaki ones*

---------------

to be on topic though, DAMN I wasn't able to watch, I'm in VEGAS right now so I'm all over the place *this is why I haven't posted in a while too...*

I'm confused with the schedules here...

I think I sort of freaked when the spoiler[pink stuffed animal thingy started to move on it's own,] and I still haven't figured that part out yet. It's too early for me to tell whether I like it or not, but I might be bored since AS just aired GITS:SAC and Fullmetal Alchemist.

My only gripe with this one would be the lack of subtitles anywhere.

You see a lot of words all over the place, but they left out the subtitles so you don't really know what's being said.

I only wonder why they did this? (Probably not intentional, or is it...?)
