Well... before you post your brutal dismemberment of my post, I'd like to share some quotes from Chobits.

Maybe what I feel about Simon and Sharon is what Chi said, "Goodbye means that you can no longer be close." I never met the guy and now I'll never get to. And he and his sister sounded cool. I would have liked to have known them. And, by expressing that, maybe it'll let other people, who are still alive, know that I want to get to know them too...before it's too late.

As for debunking me:

And as for your disdain for sentimental expressions:

Really tell me off for defending people who just wanted to say how bad they feel. You go, guy!!!

While you're busy doing that, I'll just sit here and feel bad for Simon's parents, give my own parents a call and tell them I love them and take the time to get to know a new friend while I still can.
