Oh well. It'd be kind of neat to see what they could do with the manga's current material, but it's not really necessary.

There are no plans for a 3rd season, but if they do one I would prefer if it were only about 14ish episodes like the first. The pacing was much better with the reduced episode count.

Given how little material there is (the split between high school and college playing a big part on this), this is unsurprising.
Let's see what happens moving forward. |

This just means this "web staffer" isn't included in the decision making at TBS, so as far as he/she knows...... It's like asking the Janitor.

Well, the movie is currently showing and this past 2 & 1/2 yrs, their seiyuu's did a massive noise that made their life a little bit, dangerous because of their insane fans(sorry for the term.:p). So I think, it good if they have a little break of producing another season of K-On!. But, I will not stop hoping for another season. So, lets not stop hoping everyone. ^^

Give it time.
Money talks - speaks perfect Japanese in fact - and it looks like the movie is make a nice splash. No need to hurry. Mark Gosdin |

well without knowing how well the first season did, it is hard to say if the second season will get licensed. I am hoping it does get licensed as I have the first season on blu-ray, and want to complete my set. but until bandai says anything, we will have to wait |

Well, the manga hasn't progressed enough to make another season yet. I hope they will when there is enough new material though. I really liked the Live House episode, and I hope there would be more like that now that most of the characters are attending university.
And when are they going to release a box set of the first season? It's so annoying when anime companies release each disc separately. |

While I agree with all what you said, some janitor's are much more smarter than they are given credit for. In fact, in hospital settings, it's the janitor you want to have good connections with, as he/she likely what keeps the hospital up and running. But even though I am personally not interested in K-On, I wouldn't take much stock into a web staffer that doesn't make any big decisions. This is much like having a window glazier perform a heart transplant. Wouldn't make any sense and you really couldn't take any stock into what is said. |

According to Manga UK, season 1 did badly for Bandai. http://www.fandompost.com/forums/showthread.php?860-K-On!&p=59438&viewfull=1#post59438 |
