Hello! Razz I have this serious problem:

I suscribed to Newtype magazine in March of this year. When I got vol.4, #4 of the April issue, I saw Loveless. It was in the "Japan Now" section and I thought it sounded awesome.

Then I got really interested when I learned more and definitly wanted to get it on DVD. But then again it's only in Japan right?

After that, I started reading about people saying on the internet that Loveless is awesome and that they're are gonna continue seeing it... Confused Now I'm really confused. Did it come out to the U.S. or not?

No, it’s not out in America. Those people are obtaining Loveless through… things we aren’t allowed to talk about here. Sorry. But no, it’s not out in America, and it’s not even licensed yet.

Er, there's no rule here that say's you can't talka bout fansubs you just can't tell people where to find them or who makes them.

Loveless is being fansubed, that's how people are watching it without it being released in the US.

Is the series about catboys or something? What is it about the series that interests you? If you describe the series a little more, would you like a recommendation of a similar series that is already out?

I guess I need to stop putting capitalizations on words then put explination marks afterwords. Sad
Well you got me wrong...I wasnt that ticked off about it.

Anyway(not to be a perv) I really enjoy yaoi, although Gravitation was the only one I've read/watched. I guess I wanted to try this out, too...Also the style of it is really cute(besides the really skinny legs).

Got that right.

If you watch and concentrate on Yuiko, you'll be all right. Wink

Gravitation was alright until they actually did it in the 3rd volume. It's DEFINITELY a women thing. Or homosexual men if they're so inclined.

I personally like Loveless over Graviation for its complexity. For the straight guys out there: If you ignore the gay stuff, the plot is pretty good. It's like a "who-done-it", mystery story with angst.

There's really not a whole lot of man on man action in Loveless so far. Aside from a couple of obvious shonen-ai moments, it's been pretty harmless in that area. If I were turned off by the sheer mention of "yaoi" but somehow caught some of Loveless, I'd definitely be inclined to want to see more. If nothing else, you can blindly root for Yuiko. I know I do.

As for being a straight guy watching yaoi? Who cares? Loveless and Gravitation are two awesome anime series. I can't wait to buy Loveless on DVD.
