Yay for Nana Mizuki. Hope she wins it again for the next year.

List was awesome until I saw Aya Hirano at #5. But still Nana Mizuki, Sphere, and Yukari Tamura taking 1, 2, and 3 is <3

More Mizuki power.... she is even farther in front since this list doesn't include her MUSEUM II best hits album that just released on the 23rd of November. It charted #3 with a solid 82,000 copies sold in the first week. That's about $4M more in sales. Maybe that will go on next year's sales...I'd say she'll be #1 again.

Sales of what, exactly? I really wish you would be more explicit about this. Music CDs, Drama CDs, concert videos, anime, signed photographs, body pillows, action figures?

The statistics cover CD, DVD, and Blu-ray Disc sales that Oricon surveys.

I was confused at first, but then I realized this is only about music. Perhaps including singing or music somewhere in the headline could help? Impressive by Nana Mizuki as always, but to be expected.
Also, if they were to include fictional bands, I'm sure Hokago Teatime would be in second on this list. The second K-ON! Live BD sold around 40k copies alone. Add in the different singles and drama CDs and it's a lot.
