Haha, I saw this the other day. The line is pretty dead, but the timing is what made it funny. (Awkward pauses a la Space Ghost Coast to Coast.)

I saw the commercial on ESPNEWS just a while ago. Very nice!
Yes, Progressive is fairly cheap, and they have one of the best websites on the Internet.

Progressive's quotes are as expensive as Geico for me. I am 28, no negative items on my drivers license either.
Progressive and geico will give me a quote of around $1000 for 6 months basic insurance and AAA and Allstate give me around $400-600 for 6 months basic insurance.

Also, Geico (Government Employee's Insurance Company) is also one of the most expensive insurance companies out there. Allstate and AAA is much much cheaper. |
You must have a lousy driving record.

Interestingly enough, we've only received 1 e-mail regarding it. Don't assume that other people tell us about things, tell us yourself. If we don't use your news, no harm, if we do use it, yay!

<sigh> I pay about $2800 a year. While this converts to $2300, standard of living wise it's about the same as paying $2800 in the states.

Nope, perfect driving record, poor credit rating though (under 600)

Anyone would be better than that drug addict who Geico apparently likes to support. That is partially why I find that company and their commercials repulsive.

I saw it on cable. Although it also caught my attention. I thought it was one of those VH1 shows that makes fun of anime... or was it Comedy Central who did a joke on it a while ago?
Anime_Freak wrote: | This has got to be one of THE dumbest commercials for Geico yet. It's right next to the 2 about the caveman and his friends(Which I don't understand one bit ) |
I actually find those quite funny. I mean who would not understand them. Well, I guess you say you're of those people.

Sure, I was actually going to send it in if it was not yet posted. I love how this website posts everything about anime (even under the radar things). Of course, it's due to all of those who are constantly looking out for it.

I just saw the ad a few minutes ago on the History Channel. It was kinda cool how Speed sat there stonefaced after Trixie delivered the line. As if he too, had heard it a million times. Cool beans all around
