I'd have to say the BECK OSTs are truely amazing! Has all your favorites from the show! I also enjoy all of the pillows music so I love the FLCL OST also. The Gungrave and Monster OSTs are pretty good also but I'd have to say BECK is just the best.

The Pillows' Sawao Yamanaka was just on Beck! He's in episode 26; and their song "Rookie Jet" appears in I believe episode 23. I can't wait until it comes over here for me to see it for myself.

I think my favorites are also the Beck OSTs(Which I am listening even right now). Engrish might be quite bad at times but I can live with that since I am not a native english speaker anyway. Few other favorites are FLCL and Madlax OSTs.
The best anime songs title has to go to Shocking Lemons Inner Light from Hajime No Ippo.

I've heard a lot of songs I like, but my favorites?
I'll Be the One (Hikaru no Go OP2) is probably one of my top favorites among all te HnG songs, which are really good.
Shizuku (GTO ED?) has a nice tune also, I just don't like the really random rap alliteration! part in the middle.
The Cowboy Bebop OP was also really cool, I've got to admit I never really got into the whole jazz genre. One of the more recent one I've heard is the Yakitate!! Japan OP. Haven't heard BECK yet, but I'll keep an ear out for it.

I can't believe no one's mantioned "Gravity" from Wolf's Rain. I also like "Stray", "valse de la lune", and "run, wolf warrior, run".
She also wrote a song called "Dijurido" for the Cowboy Bebop movie that I recently fell in love with.

My favorite OST of all time is definitely the Noir OST!!! It has such a huge impact on the series, especially songs like "salve nos", "canta per me" and of course "mélodie"...
I've never seen an anime as much influenced by its soundtrack as Noir.
Besides I also like the opening and ending theme of kannaduki no miko ("re-sublimity" and "agony" from kotoko) and the opening theme from serial experiments lain ("duvet" from boa).

For me I love all the music from Nurse Witch Komugi-chan.
Komugi's voice actor is a great singer.

i'd have to whole heartedly agree on this one. Noir has one of the greatest OSTs i have EVER heard. the music fits the series so well, even in the fast paced parts, but seperately they can be so relaxing. my favorite from this series is either "solitude by the window" or "romance".
however....
the rurouni kenshin OST is pretty awesome as well. "sobakasu" and "it's gonna rain" are both very upbeat and fun.

My favorite is by far the first Cowboy Bebop OST. Yoko Kanno I love you. Jazz, Blues, Rock, and Oi Street Punk (not the plastic crap, i.e. emo) are my favorite types of music, so it fits right in there.
I would have to say Too Good Too Bad is my favorite song from the album. The Baritone Sax solo is amazing ! I'm really fond of and like in no particular order: Tank, Rush, Digging My Potato, and Bad Dog No Bisquits, bah who am I kidding the whole thing is great!

Currently, my fave anime OST is the Air soundtrack (which is silly, since it's just the rehash of the game OST), which replaced the first Kare Kano at the top of my list. As for specific anime songs, "Duran Shoukan" from the first Mai-HiME OST rocks all kinds of ways, but I've got probably about 18 songs that stay in heavy rotation with me.

I just can't get rid of the Mai-HiME opening song *hammering head against screen*
@Iron Chef: Do you have the OST? Would you recommend it?

I actually have two of the OSTs, and they're really, really good. The music is still typical Yuki Kajiura, but there's nothing wrong with that!
