I thought that was the case. I originally saw this a couple of weeks ago on Deep Discount DVD, but wasn't sure if it was a typo or an unofficial change. Guess I know it's true now, which is good cause now I can get Gunslinger Girl instead or maybe even the first Initial D box set earlier than I expected .

So they're moving it from early May(when I've only pre-ordered Kizuna, Appleseed, DBZ 43 & FMP(Box+1 dvd)) to early June when I've pre-ordered Magic Night Rayearth(box), Master of Mosquiton, Gantz 5, Case Closed 5/2, & InuYasha 30.
I'm obviously going to be even more busy than I thought in June.
So the pre-sale not doing well?

Perhaps the fallout from CMX's Tenjho Tenge manga's edits has caused Geneon to maybe go back and make sure they don't get accused of the same thing?

More likely, they want to make edits of their own.

And what on Earth gives you the idea that Geneon—a company with no real history of editing the series they distribute—would suddenly hold Tenjou Tenge back in order to edit it? The reasoning they gave is rather sound; they don't want to cmopete against themselves by releasing Appleseed and the debut volume of Tenjou Tenge at the same time.

Um, they toned down the language and changed the names in Bastard, have refused to release an uncut Dog of Flanders on dvd, moved around one of the Lupin episodes and took out a parody in Mamo, and are distributing dubtitled anime from Toei. Anyway, in this case, I'll buy their argument. Appleseed probably cost a helluva lot more to promote, and they want to see money coming in on it.

Geneon is just a distriutor for Toei. They have no choice or hand in what Toei does.
