I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I just saw a commercial fo One Piece on CN. It starts April 23rd. Just passing it along for those who are interested.

Ugh... I like this show a lot but I just can't get over how 4Kids destroyed the liking crap out of it. Do yourself a favor and don't watch it but if you want to see the real One Piece... then look for it because it's floating around on the web somewhere.

Im not happy about One piece being edited by 4kids either.
However..check out the news from ICV2 here.. http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/6693.html One Peice is scheduled for Saturday 10pm! if its on during prime time..well there's hope for less edits. I'm giving it another chance. Maybe they learned from thier mistakes! |

Some people don't get it . . .
Toonami will most likely show reruns of the 4kids version of OP so 4kidstv will show new episodes of OP . . . So stop whining about all this,okay? (Don't you hate it when people get the wrong idea about something?I do.) |

4Kids won't be redubbing what they already did. So, we have to wait through the "bad" dub, but all new episodes may be less edited.

I don't think it'll be any less edited.
BTW, the 4Kids version is REALLY wierd. I mean, they edit muskets into super soakers, but at the same time they leave in Red Leg Zeff hacking his own leg off, and starving himself near to death. How does that make any sense? It's like in the last episode of Gundam Seed they aired, for most of the episode they left Azrael's 9mm alone, just a normal, realistic gun, and thin in some shots (which seemed no better or worse than to unedited ones) the gun had the red and green neon "laser gun" appointments they've been putting on guns in that show, and then towards the end he was firing it, obviously firing bullets and not spitballs or whatever, and causing massive, unedited bloody wounds. What? |

It's definitely going to be the same edit as 4kids showed. CN aired the Toonami version of Outlaw Star on adult swim so it's highly unlikely cartoon network will ever re-edit things.
