This is good now I get to see the first half of the series I think If Geneon plans to put this on Tele it would go to G4.

This series came to be as good, but like RasXapion, an EVA clone.

No surprise, since they already reserved a website for it a little while ago.

Definitely an Eva clone, but it had an ending! And the ending made sense! Laughing
I'll be buying this one.

Please, no. The last thing G4 needs is a GAINAX anime.

Geneon seems to be hot, picking up a truckload of decent anime. (Melody, Viewtiful Joe, DearS, Fafner, etc)

I hope not. Melody of Oblivion actually sounds pretty good from what I've heard, and I'm quite liking this "crappy anime go to G4 for a TV run while the good shows go to Cartoon Network or elsewhere" deal that's been going on recently.

There is no way in hell MoO is going to be on CN. Even if their schedule wasn't already saturated, there's pedophilic situations galore, and the Mighty Maids don't seem to take a liking to hurting children, no matter what time the show is on.

If you're hoping for newer catches to get on Cartoon Network, hope for Viewtiful Joe and Scrapped Princess. Tenchi Muyo OVA 3 may have the slimmest of outside chances of getting in, but it's very improbable.

I remember watching the first episode fansubbed and I hated it. I even rewatched it again later just to make sure it was as bad as I thought. Not too many people downloaded this fansubbed either. Early on a good amount did because of curiosity but by the second half of the series nobody was downloading it. It's crap.

So you say. For the first 6 to 12 hours after a fafner ep was released on fansub, the xdcc bots were literally being killed from the channel due to user flooding trying to get Fafner. The group I was getting it from even once tried to do an irc release only (instead of simultaneous bt release) and they never did that again because the bots were being killed within a minute of them returning to the channel after having already been killed by flooding. So, to say that no one was dling this series is total bs, because I've seen the flood of fans trying to get the series, even late into the series, on the irc channel. As for saying it's a crap show: you only watched the first ep and you're going on that ALONE, then making judgements about the series without having examined it to see if you were right or wrong. With most series, it's been shown that you cannot properly judge a show by the first episode ONLY.

I thought it was an excellent series. Started out a tad slow and looked very much like an eva clone (anyone every says Rahx and fafner are eva clones again and I'll cyberTHWACK them Wink), but it soon showed itself to be it's own animal and proved itself VERY well. Second half of the show was even better than the first and the eps just rolled with each other very well. Top notch series, and very much worth purchasing when it comes out on DVD (it's def. made my "to buy" list, and I'm very picky when it comes to what anime I'll invest in, due to my finances being very tight).

I was honestly quite surprised it wasn't licensed earlier. It has rather decent produciton values - the music, especially. Lovely music, it has....

The series was pretty bleh in the first half personally, but it improved a lot after the screenwriter changed. It was quite nice after that.

I'd bet on not seeing Tenchi on TV, because the series has lost nearly all of the momentum it once had. The people who watch CN would say, "Oh, more episodes of Tenchi...I remember watching that...it's probably more of the same, or it's like Tenchi in Tokyo." I hated Tenchi in Tokyo.
