YAYanime! is now open for business. ^o^

What is our mission? What is our purpose? What can we do for you that other stores haven't already done twice in the past?

While we could go ahead and give you the same generic response that every other anime retailer in existence throws at you, we really think that with today's competitive market, 'Cheap Prices!', 'Fast Shipping!' and 'Great Customer Service!' aren't so much a service as they are an obligation. Don't get us wrong, there's nothing more important to us than getting you the anime you want as quickly as possible and at a great price. But then again, so do the other guys.

So what can YAYanime! offer you that other online anime stores desperately lack?

In a word, Personality!

In more than a word, we don't JUST strive to create an easy and enjoyable shopping experience for our visitors. We are determined to present you with a place you'll genuinely want to keep coming back to - not only for your shopping needs, but for the atmosphere as well. In that aspect alone, we strongly believe YAYanime! soars above the competition.

Come check us out! ^^

I'll give you this much, that's one amazing layout you've got there. Surprisingly easy to navigate despite it's complexity and great art.

I don't buy a whole lot of anime online, but if you started carrying merchandise you'd probably have a customer in me.

Agreed, awesome layout. But you're not going to make much off of just selling dvds, which are widely avialable. Why bother buying a dvd offline and dealing with shipping, when you could just walk down to BestBuy and get it for cheaper?

Merchandise, music (legal imports of J-pop/rock) are what I'd look at. (Also hard to find posters and art supplies, J-rock....:D)

Excellent layout! Now, I notice that you all are mostly carrying the newest stuff, but I'm VERY glad to see that you've already listed and put up for preorder alot of the newest soon-to-be-released titles. Prices are not THE best (not compared to DDDVD), but with the exception of DDDVD, the prices are way up there ratings-wise in the rankings of low cost, and that's a really good thing considering that you're a new store (at least that's my take on it).

And, as others have stated, the layout is simply AWESOME. GREAT looking site with very fast loading times regardless. Kudos! You've already earned a spot on my list of online stores to seriously consider when I'm doing price researching and product availability on anime I'm looking to buy (aka, you've got a sure-fire potential customer in me).

I was only at the site for a short while, but from what I saw, it looks very impressive. I did check some of the prices of your merchandise and they are cheaper than most of the other online stores. I'll consider shopping there in the near future.

One question: Are anime DVDs the only thing you will be selling, or are you planning on expanding your shop to add collectibles, CDs, and the like?

Thank you for the kind words!

Our current plan is to focus on providing the latest anime DVD releases. However, as the store begins to grow and we start generating a little bit more revenue, we plan on expanding our product selection to include manga, anime osts, wallscrolls, snacks and various other anime merchandise.

Once again, thank you for your compliments and consideration!

I noticed that you are taking pre-orders for Full Metal Panic - Fumoffu, so I went ahead and placed an order. I like how your characters use humor to help us navigate the payment procedures, saying phrases such as "Pick a payment type from the drop-down menu below, because it's what the cool kids do," and "How fast do you want your anime? Select a shipping method, since we can't very well wish it over to you... OR CAN WE!?!?" That's very nice. Cool

I love the layout. The cartoony look with the anime pics Smile . I love how you call your prices YAY prices, very catchy. I think you have pretty good prices. You have a potential buyer right here (add to favorites). Especially this weekend when you will be running the additional 10% off deal. Hope to buy from you in the future. Very Happy
