OMG. I pray for his speedy recovery. I can't believe that he's 37 years old and this is happening to him.

^this
He's an awesome singer. I still remember when he started with "Butter-Fly" back in 1999 in the original Digimon series

I hope he gets better soon too. Digimon music is what got me into anime music, and eventually Japanese music as a whole. It's strange to say it, but Wada Kouji has had a huge impact on my life.

that's actually partially true for me too, I had like all of Butter-fly memorized when I was 11.
I hope he has a very speedy recovery and I pray for his family members too.

Oh no...
It's not fair, it really isn't.
I'll be thinking about him and I'll hope for a fast recovery.
My thoughts are with his family also.

^ Yup to both for me too! Usually when I hear about artists in Japan with illnesses, I'm unfamiliar with them, but this guys' actually a name I recognize well.
I hope he can 'show us his Brave Heart'....

Cancer is a godawful disease, and it's nearly impossible to ever truly "beat" it...sooner or later, you wind up having to deal with it again. Best wishes to Mr. Wada in his treatment, and here's to a full recovery.

Wada Koji and AiM were such a masterful pair during the old Digimon Days. Hope he recovers.

Technically, Wada Kouji did not sing Brave Heart, that was Miyazaki Ayumi.
But yes, I pray for the same. Wada Kouji is one of my all time favorite Japanese artists, all his music is just so wonderful to listen to. Be safe, Wada Kouji!

I hadn't even thought of that, but it is probably the same here too.
I have a plectrum somewhere with his signature on.
