Her website, is available in English, and was entirely written by her. Chusonji believed that it would be better if she wrote in Eglish herself, instead of getting others to translate for her.
She lived in New York for 2 years and wrote extensively on the experience.

wow, i would've never thought she was sick. i don't know her work that well, but she seemed very down to earth.

How unfortunate for a woman of her talents, to die at such a somewhat early age. My condolences and deepest sympathies.

Yeah, it's an unfortuante thing (the colon cancer) that happens to women around there 40s. One of my favorite Chinese actresses, Anita Mui, also died from this about 2 years ago, right around New Year's Eve. She was about 41 or 42, I think.

It was only last year (late December 2003), I thought she was 42, but IMDB says she was 40. It wasn't colon Cancer that killed her, but cervical cancer.
She was the greatest Female Hong Kong Pop Star of all time, over here career she released over 40 albums and made almost as many movies.

Jeez, it felt like longer. Colon, cervical, sorry the "c" got me mixed up . Still a tragedy, in my opinion.

it just kinda bothers me.
what was the name of that other japanese artist that died last year from cancer? she was around the same age if i'm correct. i remember they had a dedication to her in Samurai Champloo 17.
