My favorite j-pop artist is T.M Revolution. I love the way his voice sounds, and he has a unique sense of fashion. Other Japanese artists/bands I like are Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA,
V-6, Nami Tamaki, L' Arc~en~ciel, Jam Project, and Mai Yamane. I may not comprehend what they are saying, but it sounds good!

i am currently really digging the DAI sounds.. they manage to deliver really emotional tunes. but other than that, i stick by hajime chitose, onitsuka chihiro, sakamoto maaya, and hikki only for her DEEP RIVER album and beyond, not including exodus. i've never really been one for bubblegum pop. i do like some of ayu and ck's songs though, and some amuro namie and double for hiphop.

GACKT most definatly! *drool* I also like Hyde and Ayumi Hamsaki. It's amazing how many people I know have become addicted to Gackt's music because of me. Oh, the power.

L'Arc-en-Ciel was the first J-rock group I ever heard, and still my favorite. But for solo artists, I have to give the nod to (male) Gackt Camui and (female) Ayumi Hamasaki.

L'Arc~en~Ciel hands down! And maybe a bit of X Japan in there as well. Ogata Megumi is a favorite singer of mine, I believe she's classified as J-pop. BoA's another favorite of mine.

If anyone has ever heard of a JPOP band called "Zone", they most definitely do it for me! I have a copy of True Blue, from Tetsuwan Atom (Astro/Atom Boy) on my computer, and it absolutely rocks! I am trying to find other stuff by the group as well, so if you know of anything I dont, a PM would be most welcome!

many, but top ones will have to be misia, minmi, rip slyme, orange range, bonnie pink, kungfu generation, as for now, cause I do have a tendency to change.
If its years ago, I would probably put gackt, ayumi, utada, chemistry, but pop culture do change fast, and I'm just going along with it.
