Disney's putting the Lion King back in its basement soon. So now you can show the next generation of kids a copy of Jungle Emperor Leo.

Most anime fans are accusing Disney of ripping off Kimba the White Lion. Has anyone actually seen both, who can tell me if the only thing they stole was the concept (Lion cub's father dies and he has to become king) or they actually ripped off more than that?

If they only stole the basic story and took it in their own direction then it is forgivable, isn't it? I mean, almost every mecha show featuring a school kid somehow coming in possession of a powered suit had it from Gundam, which prolly got it from somewhere else.

I guess I’m asking on what scale did the ripping take place, if it did at all.

Which was prolly inspired by the murdering traditions of the medieval European royal families. There is nothing new under the sun; yeah, yeah, we get it already.

........ HOLY CRAP ON A STICK! This is way, way, way beyond my worst-case scenario. How can anyone doubt that plagiarising took place here? This is way past the point of creative inspiration.

I just finished reading Macbeth for english class, and I'm not seeing that. Perhaps you could explain a little bit, please?
