Ok, on amazon, they have a 27 episode boxed set (first season) but I have heard rumors there in a boxed set with the first 54 episodes. Is there any truth to this rumor, or is it just wishful thinking? And does anyone know if they will release a second boxed set as well (third, fourth, and so on as well)

The box set release by Viz is the official North American release. That 54 episode one you saw is probably a bootleg, since I don't even think the R1 season 2 box is out yet.
I'm pretty sure Viz will do the same thing they did with Ranma and slowly release a season at a time (once the individual DVDs are all released). So yeah, just be patient and you'll get them all eventually. I'm not sure how much it is on Amazon, but here is another one. |
