Ohhhh so THIS is their new series!! HURRAAYY!!! Well, wait... "new series" not "continuation"? Hmmm I wonder if they are remaking the first 3 volumes, doing a direct sequel to it, or what?

Huh. I wonder if they're restarting (as opposed to just continuing) because it's been so long since they last worked on it. Well whatever, I liked the 3 volumes of Legal Drug I have so I'll probably check out the new series, assuming they're not radically changing the premise.

I really want to read this... But then I think, what if this goes on a forever hiatus too?!

I think they need to omnibus the original 3 first. Well, whenever they get their other CLAMP releases out, that is :/

YAY!
Someone finally set a fire under their asses about it I guess.
Let's see probably won't be licensed over here until they get a volume or two out over there first, if that early. The licenser will need to reprint the first three volumes, maybe omnibus maybe not (yay no more Tokyopop translations!).
But whatever, it'll most certainly be picked up here, I can think of at least three companies whose ears must have perked up when this was announced.

lol, I wonder if they'll ever have the guts to finish X/1999. Probably not.

I knew it Nekoi never stopped drawing the characters from Legal Drug. She posts drawings of them online occasionally ^^
I think I would prefer it if they started the series from the beginning. If they do a continuation they wouldn't get many new followers.

Wow, CLAMP. I can't believe they're actually doing it.

Awesome! hopefully the manga the volumes they already did will fit into this new version of Legal Drug somehow. if not, oh well. I'm just glad CLAMP didn't completely forget about it.

That's kind of disappointing, IMO Legal Drug just seemed like a weak experiment before Holic. I would've liked to see them finish X/1999 but I haven't really been impressed by any of their newer series or current art style changes.
At least they're finally starting on their backlogged titles.

I read elsewhere that the first three volumes are going to be re-printed with new covers so that suggests that this will be a continuation, not a completely new version of it.
