Is it safe to say that different companys build of another animes ideas, then make it appeal to the oposite sex, or age group?
Or would you say that it is basic Genres that the companys/artists/writers build from |

I personally think companies target a specific age group or sex when they make an anime, not mainly based upon what is already out in that genre. This is because if their idea is not original enough, they would not have enough viewers, but at the same time, they need to be slightly aware of what is already out to not have it overlap.
(remeber, this is my personal opinion) |
