I still think the Sugar intro is more diabolic, but check it out at http://www.foxkids.com/mewmew/

Yeah, assuming that's the final theme, it's really not that bad and it fits the show. I know, in "anime fandom pipedream land", they'd just use the Japanese intro or have an accurate note-for-note dub opening like with the dubbed Rayearth, but, in the real world, it's unreasonable to expect them to do that for anime shown on broadcast kiddy television (as opposed to cable), where musical changes are a fact of life to make it more appealing to their target demographic, so, really, the best you can hope for is that the opening theme be not too annoying like some of the others.

Decent opening or not, it'll still get slaughtered in the ratings by Spongebob Squarepants and the Fairly Oddparents since it's on Foxbox, but that's another thread entirely.

I liked it. Some Japanese songs just don't work in English. It reminds me of when they dubbed the Sailor Moon theme into having the whole friendship/love message. I hope this show will pull some little girls away from Totally Spies. It was about time another sailor moon type show hit American tv.

I was thinking that Winx Club, on FoxBox, and the upcoming W.I.T.C.H., on FoxFamily, were looking Sailor Moon-esque. But then, I've only seen commercials for them. Actually, the commercials make them both look like they're about the same thing... Confused

Eesh, those last names are pretty bad, one of them is a pun honestly, why couldn't they just have the same last names like they did for Sailor Moon (execpt for Ami she's the only one to get an amicnized last name).
