I was thinking, "Is Takahiro Kimura working on characters for this...?", but nope, it's people who have worked with him! The Code Geass-ish detailing was the tip off, but otherwise it's not hugely Kimura-esque.

The coloring kinda bothers me, but otherwise it looks like it could be fun.

Welcome to the simulcast business Bandai. Unfortunately like Viz, you forgot that Hulu blocks everyone in Canada from watching what's on the site.

This show gives me A 90s vibe. I like it. It doesn't hurt that it looks nice either.

Its cool that so many anime shows are on Hulu now, but I feel like the USA restriction will not help the site expand the audience.

If an anime license holder wants to preview their show they should probly do it on an international site like Crunchyroll.

As to the show itself, it looks wholly generic, but as an action fan I feel obligated to at least see the first couple episodes.

With this series, which is one that I wanted to watch, I have three series I can watch as simulcast, one which is already going to be on Hulu (Nura Season 2) and Blood-C. On July 8, I will be on Hulu watching this series. I love Sunrise's other more recent anime series so I believe I will love Sacred Seven.

Keep in mind it being present on Hulu does not preclude it from also being on Crunchyroll or other services.

As an example, consider Tiger and Bunny, another Sunrise series.

I understand that point, but Tiger and Bunny is only available for steaming on Hulu as far as I know. I would tell you to use shows like Naruto and Bleach as examples, but those shows are so popular that they actually have a CHANCE to be available multiple places and internationally.

Not quite. Siren Visual in Australia/NZ is streaming Tiger and Bunny via ANN's video player. Siren Visual is the Australian Bandai Entertainment, if you didn't know.

Anime on Demand in the UK is also simulcasting it:

Oh, that's great. I guess I never had a reason to visit the UK or AU versions of ANN so I only see the page that mentions Hulu as the streaming site.

Reminds me of "Battle Royale High School". This could be a fun show.

Oh my, so Canada's the only predominantly English speaking country to be blocked from Tiger and Bunny...
