I like the review. Having it on DVD myself, I agree with every single statement made.

I especially like how the reviewer pointed out the subtle nuances between the dub script and translated dialogue. In my opinion, the subs do a slightly better job in giving the show a more "refined" essence (though that's probably not the word I'm looking for Anime catgrin).

The dub itself is OK, and I commend the reviewer for the insight about how most of the roles are "tough guys" and that there isn't a lot of real emotional range involved, so there's not as much to worry about in terms of that aspect.

And finally, being a big fan of Tsuneo Imahori, I would like to thank the reviewer for giving so much praise to the soundtrack. I hope to be buying the OSTs someday soon, and I'd also like to point out that I absolutely love the ending theme, "Akaneiro ga Moeru Toki". It's a real catchy song (as contradicting as it is to the series' overall mood Anime smile).

Keep up the good work! Wink

I agree with the review and having seen the complete series I must say it picks up in a big way. The middle of the series is some of the best anime I've ever seen. I'm just not as crazy about the start/end of it.
