Wow, THAT'S pretty cool... I bet they'd get tired of performing on request after a while, though. ^^;;

"customers can request the staff to recreate various scenes of dialogue live on the club's stage."
How many requests per customer? I imagine, it'd prolly depend on the type of dialogue. (Obviously, the won't be too-many yelling scenes, the throat is the bread and butter)
Also, I don't know how I feel about actors doing yelling scenes while I'm trying to eat.

Hmm considering how crazy otaku can get when their favorite seiyuu are involved, I can easily see this idea ending in disaster.

40 person occupancy won't even BEGIN to contain the rabid Aya Hirano fanboys.

I wouldn't expect too many big-name seiyuu. They're all busy. The staff will probably be mostly people who have not made it big. Matsukaze's criteria for a "pro" is just someone who is making money by using their voice.

What an interesting idea. But what lines to ask for? That's the question.

For the female VA's, the line from that show where they said "Oh, Onii-chan", will be a popular request.

Why am I reminded of situations where famous people get stopped in the street by people who badger them to "Say the line! SAY THE DAMN LINE FOR MY SON!" "....I'll be back..." "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!"
Oh well, at least they can make some money off it now!

Go watch Kiddy Girl-and episode 6 and you'll see how this will end. Maybe they even took the idea from that series

Does anyone really go to this type of place for the food?

"... it will be the world's first cafe where the entire staff are professional voice actors and actresses...."
Um....... no.
Has he been to Los Angeles? Lots of cafes with moonlighting waiters and waitresses waiting for their big break.

Yeah, what high-paying actor would stoop back down to serving tables?

Firstly, no one's going here for the food. Period. It's probably (not "prolly") the same overpriced instant or microwaved junk they sell at the million other maid or cosplay cafes in Japan.
Pros as wait staff? Yeah... I call BS. Unless they happen to be porn seiyu or the lowest on the totem pole, I call BS. No pro -in their right mind- would waste their time or talent being some organ-grinder monkey to a bunch of rabid (and possibly stalker-crazy) otaku. Unless they're charging a $1000 or 10,000 dollar cover charge just to get in the door, I can't see anyone of consequence doing this, beyond the noobs or bit players.
Second... this just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen (like "chopped up into little bits and put into coffee cans next to their figurines" bad). Unless they've got trained assassins working security, I wouldn't approach the place.
This just smacks of disaster, all the way around.
