At this present moment all of your polls are outdated and closed, perhaps if you maybe renewed your polls page and created new ones then repetition in forums won't occur. Recently in the Anime forums there's been a lot of 'What's your favourite........", if polls were open then this would stop time and storage wasting on forums.

ANN's polls generally have a specific purpose and don't need to be open for a long time. And how would keeping those polls open keep people form posting "What's your favorite..." threads?

I moved this to the proper forum since it has nothing to do with Protoculture Addicts.
And I also opened a new poll.

Given the anime fan's average demographic, that's not particularly surprising.

*stares at all the Kerrys* WOAH. And here I thought it'd be pretty split between him and Bush. Just... woah...

As a Mark Steyn-type Canadian, I decided to be honest and vote "I can't vote but would vote for Bush if I could" rather than just put my name in the "Bush" column.

The inclusion of Nader but LACK of Badnarik is disappointing (hey, he got signs on National TV on Hardball at the debates), and since I already DID vote and don't have my option on there. *sigh*

It makes sense to support Kerry. If you vote for Bush, you vote for stronger enforcement of and punishment for the types of obscenity laws which caused a comic book store owner to go to jail for selling legal pornographic material to a consenting adult. (Oh, and a draft.)
Tempest: Bandarik is the Libertarian people who vote for Libertarian picked to make a statement.

Election is spelt wrong at the top. On the page, it's spelt 'Ellection'.

Actually, there's 6 candidates:
Kerry/Edwards (Democratic)
Bush/ Cheney (Republican)
Nader/Camejo (I'm not sure what party they are) though Nader is not on the ballot in a lot of states (like PA), so I don't know that they can be counted
Badnarik/Campagna (Libertarian)
Cobb/Lamarche (Green)
Peroutka/Baldwin (Constitution)

how very true Gatsu, that reason among many others is enough to vote against Bush and his religious reich.
i know i did. props goes to Tempest for implementing this particular poll, i know ANN for the most part stray from political discussions, but i feel that today is a very importantday for many otakus and non-otakus to voice their beliefs via voting.
choose or lose.

Why do I somehow foresee this thread devloving into a flame war. Well, here is hoping for the best.

Just for some perspective, Republicans don't have a monolpoly on coming down on offensive material. Tipper Gore spearheaded the rating system for CD's.
And, as far as the draft goes, it just so happens that the sponsors and writers of the bill were all Democrats and the only two people who voted for it were both Democrats. For the most part, nobody is for a draft.
For the record, I voted for Bush. It's funny how two people can look at the same thing and come up with two very different conclusions on what makes sense.

Go Kerry.
