Some really exciting scenes, they haven't really revealed much in the way of plot so I wonder if it's just going to be non-stop action like a Michael Bay film.

This movie looks like crap, and it's a completely unnecessary cash-grab.

I didn't like Shamballa either, but it had to happen. Brotherhood told a complete tale, so any additional video game or movie is just going to feel out-of-place.

You know, I'm still going to buy the inevitable dub release to support the series and complete the collection, but gosh the animation on this is hideous. I was excited for this movie because I figured it would look even more gorgeous that the series but...this just looks unfinished and childish. I dont know what the animators were thinking here.

It's ironic Arakawa draws herself as a cow.

not gonna lie, that animation is fricken sexy. unique style, but in terms of whats going on it seems pretty random, still it could be a great side story, I hope.

^ Burnnnnn!!! Laughing

The animation lacked detail, darkness and something was seriously wrong with his hair.

It was like trying to escape or something....

Hiromu Arakawa is drawing a bonus manga for Japanese theater-goers??? Forget the stupid movie, I want that manga!!!

Viz, get to work on licensing that now! (um, please? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?)

Ironic how? IIRC, She grew up in Hokkaido on a dairy farm, thus the cow.

Plus cows are cute! Wink

The action seems pretty good, but I still find the art a little awkward. I guess I got so used to Brotherhood's usual character designs and watercolor looking backgrounds. It's going to be like going from the first series to Brotherhood, again, adjusting to the new art.

Actually, the fight with that one guy looks very similar to Edward's fight with Isaac in the first episode of Brotherhood.

Once again I can't help but be astonished by the turn-on-a-dime cynicism of the FMA fandom.

I can also be summed up as:

"FMA Brotherhood announced!"

Fandom: "YES! YES! YES! Ohh god I think I have an erection!!"

"FMA Brotherhood movie announced!"

Fandom: :smack: "You whore! You slut! How dare you sell yourself out like this!"
