I hope they do more of those fan surveys in the future, if it makes this big a difference. Looking forward to owning this.

Awesome, I really enjoyed this anime. It'll be a welcome addition to my shelf when it's released! Glad to see that these fan surveys actually do make a difference. Hopefully the people who answered the survey will follow-up on buying the show.

Great news! This was one of my favorite series from 2010, and I'm glad to see it get a license. I know it might not be the most popular with the "core fanbase," but I really like a lot of the shows they run on the Noitamina block, and I'd be glad to see Funimation bring more of them to DVD/BR release.
Like...y'know...Tatami Galaxy.

The thing with that is the fans need to keep their word. If they got alot of people saying "Yeah we will buy that" but then no one buys it Funi isn't gonna be very likely to ask fans like that again because they know the fans will say yes just to say yes. On the other hand if the show sells really well they will be more open to asking the fans and seeing the response for future series or perhaps shows people have been waiting for for quite awhile. Either way I'm really happy about this. I thought the show was great and can't wait to own the Blu-ray. I'll be pre ordering as soon as they allow it on right stuf(which won't be for awhile) |

Seconded, and a dub will certainly help my motivation. I'm a little surprised we've heard nothing about Tatami Galaxy though, I thought that did pretty well for them. |

I can just imagine them saying, a couple of days from now: We have been secretly dubbing Tatami Galaxy and will release it Q3/Q4 2011.
...but they won't actually say that until the Expo or some other con. |

Glad to see more noitaminA titles get the physical release nod. Having said that, I'm not sure I'll be picking this one up. I enjoyed watching it when it was streamed, but I'm not feeling a huge need to re-watch it. Maybe when more time passes, though...

No one's licensed OG The Inspector for a release yet, have they?
Because I want that thing dubbed. Bad. Anyway; Is this series any good? I saw Crunchy has it subbed ( At least, I think they did) and was wondering if it was worth checking out. |
