I just bought Requiem Box Set from Best Buy on 13 Oct 04. It is a nice box set and it came with everything except the DVD. I do plan on going either on the 15 or 16 Oct to return it but before I do I just wanted to know if anyone had this happen to them and if it is hard to return. I guess this is pretty much my word against theirs but I was stunned to find the boxset void of any DVDs. Well, I don't know how many Requiem Box Sets have this problem, maybe it's just mine but I hope it isn't a widespread problem and if it is I hope Geneon does something promptly to remedy the situation. Well if anyone has some useful feedback please tell. Otherwise, I'll see if I can exchange it for another, or if they're out, a refund.

I worked in a video store for too many years and I've seen empty boxes before. They were a very rare occurence though. There was even a time when the wrong movie was put in the box. However, a whole box set with no discs....good luck!

You brought the Requiem Limited Edition DVD1 with box right? If so, you're suppose to only get 1 dvd, not the whole set.
I know some people who buy the LE box expecting it to have all the DVD, yet it's only suppose to have the first dvd. Or did it not come with any DVD at all?

I know it's supposed to come with 1 DVD and it did not come with it. To the other posters, the box set is not supposed to come with all the DVDs, it just has placeholders for when the rest of the series is released. I plan on going on Saturday morning to either get an exchange (if they have more) or a refund so hopefully the customer service reps will understand otherwise hell may break loose.

I work at Media Play and you'd be surprised how often this happens. Believe it or not though, we give the customer the benefit of the doubt and just exchange it for a new one. It doesn't cost the store anything because we just mark it as defective.
So hopefully, you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, I ended up returning the Requiem Box Set on Oct 16 and they didn't give me much of a problem. They just had me check the media department to make sure that they didn't have anymore and once I verified that they didn't they gave me a refund via a gift card which I did not mind seeing as I buy alot of stuff from them anyways.

I'm just guessing, but maybe someone stole the discs out of the box and just walked out with them... i seriously doubt that the company failed to put the discs in the whole box set.
Or i could be wrong...

Having worked at Borders for a number of years I will say I've seen this happen to both DVDs and CDs. This is most likely a factory mistake. I once special ordered a CD for a friend which was empty, and never had a chance to sit on display.

I once bought a sealed Jungle Brothers album, and when I opened the case it contained a country CD by Brother Phelps.
