Of all the silly things, I'd glad to see this article becuase it tells me how long this series will end up being. I got the first 3 volumes for Christmas- my mother, for reasons I have yet to figure out, concluded I really wanted this series. I've been afraid to really read those books and get hooked due to very limited shelf space not being able to handle another 20+ volume work. But 15-16 volumes, I think I can squeeze in (especially with all Tokyopop titles effectively canned for the time being.)

I suppose this is good news! I may actually start reading this series now that it's finishing.

I hope this means they'll adapt the rest into anime form at some point.

But then he'll become a great tragic figure and be revered by fans even more.
But seriously, though. I hope it will be a happy ending. As it is I'm thrilled to hear that it WILL be ending. I thought Obata was planning to drag it on forever.
