Quite impressive even though One Piece sold more than any other SJ title (don't hate me, that's my opinion)

That's not an opinion, but rather a fact (in Japan at least. Dragonball still has sold more globally I believe)

Speaking of the cover, did Zabuza and Haku jump into the story again or something? Just seems pretty weird to have them on there.

Can someone tell me why this is news worthy?
Don't get me worng. It's great for the Manga but I mean it is not like it's a record or something.
It not even a round number.

I'm just hoping these sales prompt Kishimoto into molding this arc into more than total rehash theater...

The only thing Kishimoto needs to do is to make sure when he kills his characters, that they stay dead. The Pain arc was fine up until its conclusion, which felt like it greatly cheapened the overall impact of that arc.

Hahaha, I second that, especially the stupid revival thing and only to get pawn easily and yet they call them legendary.

This, basically. Doesn't this get reported in the general weekly sales round up? As this isn't anywhere near a record is ANN just going to start reporting each weekly best-seller as its own news story from now on? I'm not trying to complain, it just seems a bit redundant. >_>

I believe the article is calling the 11th time a Naruto volume that has topped Oricon's weekly chart since the chart was established a milestone.
