dragonballz.com
dragonballzkai.com Both are websites listed as companies, and credited as "Internet Streaming" for Dragon Ball Z. Shouldn't these be listed as official sites (if they are), and not companies? Doing an encyclopedia search for ".com" actually gave me a bunch more of these, which I'm assuming are probably all from the same person: Hulu.com (not the correct Hulu company) Naruto.com DisneyXD.com There's a number of other ".com" entries that are either blank, or credits that should probably be attributed to the company owning that domain, not a company with "[domain].com" as their proper name. |

Corrected those ones. For the full list of company names including "com":

Lets be honest here. There isn't actually a spot for web sites that stream shows listed on Anime News Network. This might be because Internet Steaming wasn't around when ANN first started, and it might be a feature that should be added. As a result, there are places that stream the series that don't get properly listed. For example, Onepieceofficial.com is the place for premieres of One Piece 5 full days before Hulu, VizAnime, or FUNi's video player. Yes, there is a link for OnePieceOfficial on the FUNi video page link, however it doesn't specify it is only for One Piece because that information isn't given a spot to be posted. Now someone who is new to the web and does a search can find out information on One Piece by visiting the show page, but they can't find out where the actual simulcast takes place at unless they visit the FUNi page, which likely won't happen as they are merely doing a Google search, Granted, they should find OnePieceOfficial well before getting to the ANN page for it, but there are always one or two people who might jump down to a site they have visited before first.
There are places, such as the aforementioned Disney X D, that is the only site where you can watch legally dubbed Naruto Shippuden in the US. Disney is the company that runs Disney X D, but the Disney show page and the Disney X D show page are on two completely different servers. With the theory mentioned above, since Disney X D isn't a company, then there is no where we can post that the dub videos are available at DisneyXD.com. I should mention this seems contradictory as CN Video and adult swim fix were posted as companies, not websites, long before I started submitting information, and you can still find them listed as CN Video and adult swim fix on some of the ANN pages. Another example of this is found in 4Kids TV, the official 4Kids series Video site, which is listed as its own entry from 4Kids TV being on Fox. Yet if we go with this example, there should be nothing found under 4Kids TV. It should all be Fox or 4Kids Entertainment. Additionally, there is one main streaming site: Toonzaki, that is run by 4Kids Entertainment. They are allowed to link to videos from Crunchyroll and Hulu, though with the Hulu videos they also have to get permission from the parent company, like FUNimation or Sentai Filmworks, which is why they don't actually have any of the VizAnime shows posted at Toonzaki. However there is no mention of Toonzaki here at Anime News Network, and posting down that Internet Streaming is done by 4Kids via Toonzaki would be inaccurate since it is still Hulu, FUNi, Crunchyroll, and Sentai that allow their shows to be linked by 4Kids. I should point out that you don't visit Crunchyroll to get shows on Toonzaki, nor do you visit Hulu. You go to toonzaki.com and find the shows there, with the exception of the week delay on CR simulcasts. Not allowing all streaming sites to be posted merely limits the number of people that can visit a site and watch a show. Does it mean that Internet Streaming needs to be moved all together away from English companies? Possibly, especially since Anime News network prides itself on being a site where you can find the most information about Anime. Why is the actual news of site locations you can watch shows at being limited then solely because they aren't a company and because there isn't a spot for the sites to be posted? there needs to be some sort of compromise where all sites that are streaming the show legally can have the info posted, especially with Internet Streaming having expanded so much in the last 2 years and with companies running multiple sites to stream specific shows. |

Wow, that was a long-winded post. The answer is simple: "Internet Streaming" companies and "Official website" links are not mutually exclusive. It totally makes sense to credit Hulu with Internet Streaming and also add an Official website link to the Hulu page for the anime (but not to the hulu.com home page). But as Dessa correctly surmised, there is no company named "dragonballz.com" and so it shouldn't be listed under the DBZ companies.
