The ANN encyclopedia credited Takehiko Inoue as having written and illustrated the Blade of the Immortal series. The name Hiroaki Samura is printed right on the book, so this seemed like a bit of an strange error to make; Does anyone know if Hiroaki Samura is a psudonym, by any chance?

As far as I understand, Hiroaki Samura is the artist and author of Blade of the Immortal. Takehiko Inoue has done Vagabond, Slamdunk and other works. I think that it was just a careless mistake.
And so, while we're on the topic of Blade of the Immortal, which is one of my all time favorite mangas, what do you like best about it? I picked up "On Silent Wings II" first, and I loved it mainly for the art. Then I really got into the story and I've kept up with the series since then. You gotta love the relationship between Manji and Magatsu in "Secrets"! |

It was a careless mistake and has been corrected.
All the data entered in Blade of the Immortal was in fact for Vagabond. |
