To anybody who has experience in doing this - help!

I ordered the Time of Eve BD from them and the auto-confirmation email I got from them was in English. But then they sent me a second email that's in Japanese - I'm assuming this email is for me to select a payment method. Has anybody run into this situation before? There doesn't appear to be any helpful "hit this button and get the english version" that I can see.

Any guidance would be most appreciated.

Depending on how it's written you might be able to copy and past here right?

Google translation really won't help me. To be comfortable (since I'm making payment arrangements) I want to be sent an English form. I'm assuming this is possible since the initial auto-confirm email was in English. I'd really love to hear from people who have used Amazon Japan before.

Personally... I'm confused as to how you can already have ordered it without selecting a payment method.

Doesn't Amazon require you to do that when you check out?

Yeah I've ordered from them a few times and had to impute my credit card to register along with a shipping and billing address so I'm confused as well.

There's a help thread at AoD you can search through to find your answer. Honestly, though, you'd be better off making an account and asking this question there since it's filled with veteran importers.

That aspect confused me as well. I guess Amazon Japan works differently for its international customers. I was able to order without selecting a payment method. This Japanese email is where I'm supposed to select the method. Other Japanese online retailers operate that way, too, where once your order has been confirmed and reserved, they send you an email instructing you how to make a Paypal payment, for example, and then don't release the item until they have confirmation of payment.

I have a feeling this isn't going to work out.

Hey let me know if it comes with a slipcase. The only thing that is holding me back from ordering that is first press.

luffypirate85, surely to God you have ordered from Amazon Japan before, haven't you? Man, I was under the impression there was a bunch of you out there that had dealt with them before.

Well, when I start importing, I'm going to be using YesAsia because it's English and offers free shipping after $39. Amazon JP seems to really only be good for preordering since they offer 27% off. So, perhaps you should consider canceling your order with Amazon JP (if you can read how to) and place an order with YA. Just a suggestion if you can't get this sorted out.

Unfortunately, it appears that Amazon Japan is the only place offering the Time of Eve ONA on BD with English subtitles.

Hey, I've been studying japanese for over a year and a half now. I can try reading it for you, if you want me to. Smile Ya know, as long as you edit any personal info out of the e-mail.

I ordered this same item from Amazon.co.jp and chose my payment method just like you would for Amazon.com. I've ordered other items from them as well. Have you added a payment method on the site? If not, try doing that and re-ordering it.

It does come with a slipcase, as well as several alternate covers to use. Here's a crappy picture I took: http://i.imgur.com/D0n4r.jpg

I hope this doesn't double or triple post, got an error message a couple of times while trying to reply but now this one is showing up, doh.

Thanks for the offer, but it is a multi-step process so having somebody try translation would be awkward. Basically, if I can't get an English form, I'm going to let this go.
