Lol @ the Garden of sinners MSRP. Buying yourself one copy of each of the other releases this week won't even add up to it.

hey, can someone find out when the Evangelion manga Volume 12 by Sadamoto is coming out?
Because Borders' website says its coming out next week, but the Viz.com website says its coming out mid-March. Which is correct?

I think Amazon says the 15th of Feburary and TSRI is that March date. Either way, I'd be checking Borders weekly for this bad boy.

Seeing as how nobody, not even Viz, has a picture of the cover of the book it's highly doubtful that it'll be out next week. March is much more likely.

Amazon.ca lists the book as in-stock. Seems a fairly pretty good indication it's out. A friend of mine is ordering it so I'll know soon enough when/if it shows up in her hands.

Haha, nice! How's the picture quality? I've heard it's a not terribly good upscale, which is the only thing I'm a little apprehensive about while I await the arrival of my set.
On that note, I guess I'll check the review to see if Zac says anything on the matter.
Add: My concerns have indeed been allayed by the review!

I'm on the third film and haven't noticed anything too jarring so far. The picture has a very smooth feel to it. Theres a scene in the second film where a bicycle wheel is shown in the background (34:46 I think...) and the spokes are blurred. Someone on AoD was making a fuss about it, but the DVD seems to have had the same issue. Guess some people want to think that upscales can fix animation errors lol. I will say for a fact that the sound is amazing. The ending theme to the first film literally gave me an eargasm. Loud, booming, and in your face
A fella had some DVD to Blu-ray comparison shots uploaded on AoD of the first couple films. Sometimes slight, but definitely an improvement for sure. Tightened picture. Lines are more defined. I think when we get to the newer movies we will notice a significant difference.

Cool, good to get more input. And yeah, I found the link to hissatsu01's comparisons in the 25000-copies-sold thread, which look promising. Clearly knows what he's talking about anyway, as I remember from the time he chastised me in another HD-related thread some time ago... Think it had to do with Xam'd...
Anyway, I'm only sad that all I've got for audio is 2.1.
