Hello. I am currently doing research as to where I can find information about US distributors of Anime and Manga. Myself and my husband are considering opening up a brick-and-mortar store in our local area, and I have been googling quite a bit, and coming up pretty dry. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time in helping out someone new to this website.

Well, you start off by just looking at the sites of some of the main distributors of physical anime media.
Funimation Viz Media Bandai Entertainment Media Blasters FUNimation is pretty easily the biggest out of all of these companies and they release far more stuff than any of the others, just as a side note. Hope this was of some help. |

Thank you for the help with that. Unfortunately, one of the ones that I was looking into the most (VIZ) doesn't seem to have much in the way of wholesale buying for small businesses. I checked pretty much every page on that website, and the only contact info I could find was a mailing address, and I usually only do snail-mail for actual items, not single sheets of paper.
Anywho, thank you for the help. |

I'd also check with Rightstuf. http://www.rightstuf.com/rssite/main/ They have a good customer service department and have "Dealer Inquiries invited" at the bottom of their main page.
