7 remaining copies. I think they have sold around 40 throughout the weekend (!) That's kinda insane for the price tag. I guess people are taking this more seriously than I thought.

It you are on the fence about this you should give it a go. I highly highly highly doubt this will end up as a bargain title. Don't miss your chance.

Some of them could be reserving a second copy, since it's been proven that it does sell.

How is Bandai's store coming along? Do they list any units?

Highly doubt, or highly believe? Oh, bargain bin... right. Did anyone actually think it would?

You know, if Aniplex had announced that they were going to release this through Rightstuf at the beginning back on August 26th when it was announced for Japan instead of waiting until December 13, I would've gotten this. It would've been easy to save $80 a month until it's release. Two months notice, though, was much too abrupt for me to gather up $400 for anime. Hopefully, if they plan on doing this again in the future, they'll announce it at the same time as they do the Japanese release.

Hey, Harts, want me to get one for you?

Assuming you won't betray me when they release a 10 times cheaper version with dubs. Laughing

Has it been at 7 for awhile? I know during the weekend it was bouncing between 0, to 48, to showing it has plenty of a quantity.

Sometimes it makes you wonder if it's just a sales ploy Anime dazed...

Oh yes I've read a couple optimistic posts on AoD. It just doesn't seem logical that it would happen at this point.

Dunno about Bandai. I've given up with their slow ass customer service to even bother now...

I think they started the counter around 50, some snafu happened displaying "sold out", then the counter jumped back to the correct number.

Could all be a ploy, but either way when it does reach 0 its a bad thing. Nobody knows if Aniplex will be sending them another batch.

Hmm, wouldn't it be risky for Rightstuf to get a second batch? I'd understand 50 copies or so more, but another whole batch sounds like madness. The main reason it's selling is because everyone expects it to be a limited edition, but if another batch just springs out of nowhere that's just gonna piss people off.

It seems to have been at least a slightly risky decision (not least because of the lack of subtitles) for TRSI (importing such a high-cost product), but it seems to have paid off quite well. Smile

King of Harts: Since the price of this release is twice what I usually budget for anime/manga in a month, my tax return is going to cover the rest of it. That's another way to consider financing the purchase.

But it does have subtitles along with a translation booklet for the Deluxe Visual Chronicle book.

After some hemming and hawing, I finally said the heck with it and went ahead and ordered it. Here's hoping that I get a decent tax refund.
