how good is this series, i haven't seen any of them yet. :/

and how does it compare to the movie?

Shelf Life

As for me, I think it's much better than the movie. I would say it's very good, one of my fav's at the moment. More is explained than ever was in the movie. There is quite a bit of technobable, some people seem to be turned off by it, but I think it fits in nicely.[/url]

So the final disc is out in July. Well, Atleast I don't have to buy this anime right away. It'll be on the shelves for awhile.

I'm just hoping they'll fix that supposed bug with the Japanese DTS sound encoding. I listened to it the other day, and there is barely any or maybe even no sound at all. I also hope they'll replace my Vol.1 if they officially confirm it.

I wouldn't wait to get all the releases next year if you want to get ALL the LE editions with DTS audio.

And I see they copied the cover from Japanese DVD releases but they have 12 DVDs....Will we be able to see the rest of the covers via a feature in one of the DVDs?

I love the series but will all of the LE have a soundtrack cd or just the extra dts disc. I looooove GITS: SAC!! Razz

I thought they were just "special edition" and not actually limited. Oh well, in any case, since we know every volume is going to be SE, I hope one of them comes with a box for the series itself.
