The manga (personally) was not that interesting... It makes humor with culture shocks and has a fair amount of loli fan service, non of them fit my taste...

after looking at all the other new shows announced today, I saw this one and thought it actually sounded interesting. Orphan homeless girl on the streets of the bad side of Paris in the 1800s? Well, even if it doesn't sound that enticing, it definitely sounds different, which makes it sound pretty interesting.

.. But then I checked the thread and saw your post, and I realized it was too good to be true..

Though, I probably should've expected that. Since images are usually my defining factor in determining if something "seems interesting," yet I didn't find the display pic in this article interesting at all.. There's just something about reading Paris and seeing Japan that lets you tell this show isn't going to be anything new or different at all :\

It sounds very interesting to me. I've added it to my "too watch out for" list.

Well this could be interesting, although sjp117's post makes me a little worried I'll be let down, guess I'll just have to wait for more info/promotional material to come out.

Good lord, it's not a slum or something. It's a declining shopping arcade, just like you'd see featured in many anime set in modern Japan. Plus she has spoiler[befriended a rich French girl who loves Oriental fashions.]

No it isn't.
