I hate Tokyopop with the burning passion of a thousand suns!
...But that won't stop me from buying Kyouran Kazoku Nikki if it is released. I'll just be all sullen about it.
And I might take a look at Sakura's Finest. I know nothing about it at all, but the girls on the cover are cute, and sometimes that's all that matters.

I'll be reading Chibisan Date, even if my faith in TP is currently waning...
I'm just hoping they give it a good translation and for the love of God don't keep honorifics like they did with Hetalia. Sorry about your whole "keep it true to the original" thing TP, but Japanese honorifics don't make much sense when your reading an English translation and a character personifying a European nation is speaking. (I was really happy to see Japan use them, but why Lithuania or Latvia or Spain? Was it too hard to use "Mr." or come up with a cutesy-ish name for child-Italy? Ugh. I seriously hope they change this in the upcoming volumes...)
Honorifics would feel especially out of place here, considering it's, well, Nantucket...

Yay for Sekaiichi Hatsukoi! I was waiting for this to be licensed. I would have preferred DMP to get it but oh well. At least, we will get it in English.

As was I. I didn't even read it in scanalation beforehand (Shock! But really, I've got other things to do lately and with the success of Junjou in English I figured her other stuff would be a sure thing for licensing anyway).
So-- does anyone know what Chibisan Date is about?

It basically follows a Japanese artist living in Nantucket.

I wish that another publisher would've licensed Chibisan Date and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. *sigh*
