| Bubblegum Crisis (OAV) | Bad | Not all that interesting of a cyberpunk-esque series about an all-female team of mercenaries who battle evil in power suits. I’m not sure why this series has a dedicated following. Full frontal nudity, sex-talk, profanity, gore. |
| Descendants of Darkness (TV) | Weak | My first encounter with yaoi. Vampires and supernatural detectives. Homosexual themes. Not my thing. Won’t be watching any more of this series. |

| Ga-Ra-Ku-Ta: Mr. Stain on Junk Alley (TV) | Not really good | A really weird CG anime in which none of the characters speak, but they wreak some serious violence on each other. The episodes I saw all take place in the same garbage dump back alley. Violence–some of it fairly disturbing. The episode is saw were part of the special features on various other anime DVDs (mostly Fullmetal Alchemist and Samurai 7). |
| Lupin III: Part II (TV) | Not really good | Super-thief Lupin careens from one heist to another, just one step ahead of the law. Frequent sexual references, profanity. I got pretty tired of the cheesy James Bond-esque storytelling. Won’t be watching any more of this series. |

| Steam Detectives (TV) | So-so | This isn’t a bad series, but that’s hardly enough to recommend it. In fact I’d give it a higher rating compared to others I’ve given this same rating, but I find it fairly boring. Not a lot of character development. It feels like this might be juvenile anime, though I’m not sure. |
