Seven Seas Licenses Black Blood Boys' Love Manga

(October 9, 2024) — Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce the license acquisition of the Mature-rated Boys Love manga BLACK BLOOD by Hayate Kuku. In this BL sci-fi manga, a cyborg and a botanist push the boundaries on the meaning of love.

Ethan, a battle-weary cyborg soldier, retreats to a tranquil planet in search of peace. There, he meets Mikhail, a gentle botanist whose warm smile and delicate touch seem almost fragile. Ethan finds himself inexplicably drawn to Mikhail, experiencing a restless unease whenever they're together. He longs to touch, to cherish—feelings that are undeniably human. BLACK BLOOD will be released for the first time in the English language in June 2025 for $15.99 USA / $19.99 CAN, with the manga available in a single, large-trim edition as part of the Seven Seas BL Label (Boys' Love titles). An ebook edition will also be available on digital platforms.
