NEW YORK, NY (March 27, 2024) –Milan Records today releases SOLO LEVELING (ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK) featuring music by Hiroyuki Sawano. Available everywhere now, the album features original score music written by SAWANO for the hit new anime series based on the Korean novel and comic of the same name. Known for his musical contributions to numerous anime series, TV dramas and films including Attack on Titan, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash and Promare, SAWANO was tasked with both Solo Leveling's opening theme “LEveL,” which features 5-member boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, as well as the series' original score music. The hugely anticipated series made its worldwide debut in January, quickly becoming an international hit. Solo Leveling is available to stream in the US via Crunchyroll.


ABOUT SOLO LEVELING

It's been over a decade since the sudden appearance of the "gates"—the paths that connect our world with a different dimension. Since then, certain humans have awakened to supernatural powers. We call these individuals "hunters."

Hunters make their living by using their powers to conquer dungeons inside the gates. In this world of tough customers, the low-ranked hunter Sung Jinwoo is known as "the weakest hunter of all mankind."

One day, Jinwoo gets fatally injured when he runs into high-rank double dungeons hidden within a low-rank dungeon. Just then, a mysterious quest window appears in front of him. On the verge of death, Jinwoo decides to accept the quest and starts leveling up... while the others aren't.

ABOUT Hiroyuki Sawano
Music composer who mainly creates background music for TV drama series, animations, and films, but also writes and arranges songs for other artists. From Spring 2014, he started SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], a project focusing on vocal tracks. As a producer, he has produced for artists such as SennaRin and NAQT VANE.
