TUNE IN Tokyo Presents Art Show & YSTK Zine Release Party Celebrating Five Years of J-Pop and K-Pop in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 13th, 2014)--Tune in Tokyo proudly announces it's first art show in conjuncture with Ultranimbus and Deathpop, commemorating five years of J-Pop and K-Pop in Los Angeles! We will be showcasing our favorite Tune in Tokyo flyer and promotional art from 2008 to the present at Agit Gallery in Koreatown with a free, all ages event! Our art show will also feature the launch of the new 'zine “YSTK” from the Ultranimbus artist collective, celebrating Yasutaka Nakata – the prolific producer behind Perfume, Capsule and other cutting-edge Japanese electropop acts.
We will also welcome musical guests Jake Kauffman a.k.a. Virt (http://virt.bandcamp.com) featuring Tommy Pedrini of Cats on Mars! The Tune in Tokyo DJs – Greg Hignight, Del, Tora & Ally will also be spinning, with a mix of J-Pop, K-Pop and global dance beats.

DJs and promoters Tune in Tokyo founded the first monthly event in Los Angeles for Japanese and Asian pop in 2008, weaving together the vibe of Indie dance clubs with Harajuku and Shibuya-influenced fashion parties.
