Matsuricon 2008 Finalized Guest List
Matsuricon announces finalized guest list.
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- August 12 2008 -
Matsuricon has released their finalized list of guests for their 2008 event. Guests of honor for Matsuricon include Robert Axelrod, the voice of Lord Zedd from "Power Rangers," Jeremy Mauney, an American artist that worked in Japan on several volumes of "Fist of the North Star: Master Edition." Other guests include EK Weaver, a graphic arts illustrator, voice actor Tristan MacAvery, and Archaic Jump Productions, Harlan Watkins and Mariah Watkins, who will be debuting their Live Action RPG game, "Axiom," at Matsuricon 2008.
Matsuricon's local artist guests include Alex Kolesar and Joe Kovell, creators of "No Need for Bushido," and Mindy Timpone, creator of White Noise.
The convention hours of operation are:
Friday August 22nd: 10AM - 1AM
Saturday August 23rd: 10AM - 1AM
Sunday August 24th: 10AM - 6PM

Matsuricon's goal is to promote the cultural awareness of japanese pop-culture through related events, special guest speakers and cultural presentations. Matsuricon 2008 runs from Friday August 22nd 2008 to Sunday August 24th 2008. Matsuricon is an event sponsored by Matsuri-corp, a non-profit organization.
