Netflix Removes Reincarnated as a Sword; Death Note, More Anime Still Stream in India

Netflix listed four anime titles with a "leaving soon" label in India in January, the other three being Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, and Chainsaw Man. All three titles are available on the platform as of press time and no longer have the "leaving soon" label.
Ani-One Asia's YouTube channel streamed Reincarnated as a Sword in India as it aired in Japan. Netflix added the anime in February 2023.
Muse Asia streamed the 2011 Hunter x Hunter anime in India in May 2023 and its Muse India YouTube channel streamed it in June 2023. Amazon Prime Video's dedicated anime channel Anime Times is also streaming the anime in India. Crunchyroll added the anime as a free title in India on June 4.
Chainsaw Man premiered in India on Ani-One Asia's YouTube channel in October 2022. Netflix began streaming the anime in India in February 2023. Crunchyroll also began streaming the anime in India with both Japanese audio and with an English dub in the same month and added its Hindi dub in July 2023.
Netflix India's YouTube channel streamed a Death Note reaction video featuring comedian Tanmay Bhatt and another promo video featuring YouTuber Dhruv Rathee with a guest appearance by voice actress Sonal Kaushal in 2022.
