Muse Asia began streaming Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won't Lose, the television anime adaptation of Shūichi Nimaru's Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Come light novel series, on its YouTube channel on May 5. The channel is streaming an episode of the anime daily.

The anime premiered in Japan in April 2021. Muse Asia originally streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan.

The anime centers around Sueharu Maru, an average 17-year-old high school boy who has never had a girlfriend, and the "heroine battle" between his beautiful first crush Shirokusa Kachi and his childhood friend Kuroha Shida.

Takashi Naoya (Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru) directed the anime and designed the characters at Doga Kobo (New Game!, Ikebukuro West Gate Park). Yoriko Tomita (As Miss Beelzebub Likes) was in charge of the series scripts, and Atsushi Soga (Devils and Realist) handled additional sub-character designs.

Riko Azuna performed the opening song "Chance! & Revenge!." Cast members Inori Minase and Ayane Sakura performed the ending theme song "Senryakuteki de Yosō Funō na Love Comedy no Ending Tema Kyoku" (An Ending Theme Song for a Tactically Unpredictable Romantic Comedy).
